Our Duties:
1) Night duty
There are 8 centres. Punggol SHG have the smallest no. of volunteers. Yishun have about 32 volunteers. Lights out is 10pm while rise & shine is 6.30am. 8.5hrs to be split. We did a draw lots and got the 1st shift for sentry duty: 11pm-12am :-)
2) Distribution of food duty
We will be helping to distribute the food during all meal times. Food will be distributed by centres. There will be just 4 meals (lunch, dinner & supper on 14th Jun and breakfast on 15th Jun).
3) Area cleaning duties
Ensuring areas like the toilets, dormitories and dinning hall are clean. The places where we use to play games should be cleaned up directly after using. Dinning hall should also be cleaned up after every meal. The children sleeping in the individual dormitories should clean up the respective dormitories that they sleep in. While toilets shall be shared by 2 dormitories, so those staying at the dormitories will clean up the toilets.
